Answer: Asbestos shingles can be painted with any high quality house paint. First brush off all dust and dirt from the shingles; any badly soiled places should he scrubbed with trisodium phos- phate and water. rinsed well and allowed to dry thorbughly. Then give the shingles one or

Then brush off and replace with fresh paste, or moisten with the remaining ll- quid. it may take a week or more to remove the stain com- pletely. ‘
