Twin Calves Are Born At Fair

A pair of twin calveg were dropped Sunday night in the Ed- ison B. Mulch stables at the Exhibition grounds.

The youngsters carry in their blood veins some of the very best blood in the Jersey world. Their mother is Rivernorth Lily Beacon. She is sired by Edgelea Beacon Jester Standard. a grand champion at the Royal Winter Fair as well as at Charlotte- town for Mr. Mulch in past years. and showing again to- day.

The maternal grandmother of the twins is Rivernorth Jesteris Darling. a cow in Mr. Mutcb's herd that has a record of 725 lbs of fat in 306 days. The ma- ternal grendsire of the newcom- ers to the Jersey world is River- north Jester's Standard Dream- er. another grand champion at the Royal for Mr. Mutch, and a consistent winner in big Jersey shows in the states since Mr. Mutch sold him several years ago.

The youngsters themselves are as yet unnamed.
