Turkish Minister Says United State, Claims Are Groundless—Counter- Claims May Be Presented.

Wasninorox, October 15.—In conver- sation with areporter the Turkish minister who has just returned to Washivgton, said that be had not heard from his govero- ment anything toconfirm the rumor that the United States government bad in- “tracted its minister to insist on the pay- ment of the claim for $100,000 as indem- nity for lossesin Armenia.
