Edmund Assclin. now Liberal M e m b e r of Parliament for Montreal - Notre - Dame - de- Grace. made an “unlawful and unconscionable" personal profit of 362.000 on a land deal with the Protestant school board of Greater Montreal.

The report said Mr. Asselin and partner Frank Spenard had no legal right to buy a property at St. Leonard de Port Maurice and sell it to the board at the profit they did since they had entered an agent relationship with the board.

This had been done when Mr. Asselin asked board chairman John Rowat for information about what property the board might be interested in. acquired it and passed it on to Mr. Spen-
