Oct. 19. 1944. he was the beloved sonI of Mr. and Mrs. George Murphy‘ at the age of eight he moved I with his family to Searietown. where he attended school andl later attended Kinkora High School. He also served at this1 time as an altar boy for threeI‘ years for Father Reggie Mac-3 Donald at SeVen Mile Bay.

At the age of sixteen he start- ed working for his brother-in- law. Charlie Dawson as a ser- vice station attendent. He also lived with Charlie and Millie to make his work more convenient and Is missed deeply by all in tome.

lie was a loving uncle to his little nephews and nieces and al- ways lnstructed them in thel right direction. He was very do- voted to his work and won the respect of all his customers. ‘

His funeral which was said to be the largest ever held in Se- ven Mile Bay showed the esteem to which he was held by all.
