A meeting of the executive of the Prince Edward Island Teach- er's Federation was held in the Federation Office, arlottetown. on Saturday. All the members were present.

Receipts for fees were ordered to be sent to the three Federation members at the A-M Johnson School. Bills, presented for var- ious functions for the Easter Con- vention. were ordered to be paid.

There was a considerable dis- cussion on the holding of future workshops, and a suggested agen- da was planned to be sent to the President of'each Local. An ag- enda, for the Board of Governors' meeting to be held. on Saturday. May 26. was arranged.

The new drug store will operate on a four point program to ef- ficiently meet the needs of its cust- omers. These four points are pre- scription service, front store ser- vice, delivery service and mail or- der service all of it carried out in a prompt and courteous man- ner.

The two young druggists have adopted the slogan "Where two skills meet" meaning the skill of the physician in prescribing meets with the skill of the pharmacist in dispensing the prescription.

Mr. MacDonald and Mr. Mac- Lellan bring a background of ab- ility, experience and popularity in- to their new business which augurs well for their future success. Both are Registered Parmacists hav- ing studied at the Maritime Col- Iege of Pharmacy which is affil- iated with Dalhousie University.

Here at Saint Dunstan's. the topic currently in the air seems to be the forthcoming annual Stud- ents' Union elections. and slowly but with the proverbial sureness. the political wheels are gathering momentum. Here and there around the campus, the usual small cliq- ues are gathering around their mythical cracker barrels and striv- ing with all their might to outwit and unwind one another as they expound with all the rhetorical cleverness that they have gleaned from the year's speech classes on so-and-so's capabilities for such- and-such an office. The funny thins is that with a set of exams Just over, you wouldn't think there would be so much hot air around the place.

Since the election date has been set for this coming Monday, April 16. and since on that day the stud- ents will have to make known their choice for the positions of presid- ent, vice-president. and secretary- treasurer on the Students' Union Executive; we feel that we can expect an intensive program of speechifying between now and then. It would seem that some of the fellows are going to have to haul the lights of their qualificat-

ions out from beneath their tacit- urn bushels, or have someone else do it, if these elections are going to be in any way successful. It would almost seem that each pro- spective candidate is afraid of winning by ' ation, and is therefore a bit timid about dipping his toe into the stream, but unless quite a few make the plunge prett quickly, it's going to be difficu for the student body to make a choice. We won't attempt to pre- dict the outcome of this political race, but just sit tight and trust in the ability of the Saints to choose what is best for themselves. A MIRACLE
