Whip grafting is an obsolete term erpyplanied by the deseriptive phrase “root grafling,” as tit is its use. Mr. Kinsman is not much of a talker; but be keows howto work aad is w'limg to do it.

It isalso suprising to notice that, con trary to precedent, South Winsloe school was not meationed io this article. Judg- ing from what has been seen of this game of securing cheap popularity through the medium of the public press, the most probable’ solution of the matter is that this time it was Mr. Carters “innings” and we may expect thatthe school and school teacher of South Winsloe will not be forgotten in the next correspondence from this vicinity.
