I ..PAINFULLY. INJURED. - A, double fracture of the leg was sus- tained Thursday morning by Mr. Clarence Ranahan. CNR agent at Royalty Junction. The accident oc- curred as Mr. Ranahan was in the act of loading a keg of spikes aboard the city-bound George- town train. in some manner the heavy package slipped from his grasp, striking him on the leg. and breaking both bones just above the ankle. It is expected that he will be off duty for a con- siderable period. In the meantime his duties at the Junction are be- ing performed by relief agent John Macbougall.
