Union Commercial College clos- ed for the Christmas Holidays on December 20. after a successful fall term. During the term Mr. J. MacDonald of the Post Office De- partment. Charlottetown. gave an illustrated address on the function.-. of that Department. and Mr. Charles ' F. Bentley gave two very helpful talks on what employers expect in stenographers and bookkeepera Educational films on bookkeeping. typewriting. and stcnographic duties were shown on several occasions. Largely attended Night Classes in bookkeeping. typewriting, and short- hand ended for the holidays on Fri- day evening. Dec. 15. Instruction was given too. by Correspondence to some twenty-six students from various parts of the province, the majority of whcm were sponsored by the Department of Health and Welfare.
