They intend remaining home for at least a. week and then departing for Newcastle, N. 3., Where they hope to secure employment. A few wagons have made their appearance on the roads, but the sleigh still holds the spot light as the major means of transporta- tion, and may continue to bc for awhile yet. if the week end is any indication.

One of our enterprising young merchants had his car out on Sunday for u. short. drive. just to see whnt she would act like, after being without exercise all winter. However she behaved like a. lady shOllICI, and never acted tho least bit tctnwrmentai, but carried him back home “a 1a mode."
