The Confederation . Centre Art Gallery and Museum will be pres- enting two new exhibits which open on Wednesday Sept. 26. The two new exhibits are 'Island Space' and a collect— T ion of objects, pro— ' jections, mobiles, pieces and a whole selection of other things that deal with space. being either physical or psychic.

The exhibit has been put together and arranged by three Islanders, each of who have displayed things before in the Art Gallery and are to—

gether under the name of

B.S.M. Sometimes known as Better Space Manage— ment, but also goes under a number of other names. The exhibit, thrOugh different med-’ iums, will constantly .be in motion, with group participation often re— quested. The public is also asked to submit any objects of art or partifactswthat they_feel

The Fabulous Platters

Last Thursday, the Un- iversity had the Platters play to a capacity crowd. They are nearing the end W#‘“ ‘

’of a Canadian tour that

has brought them to Mont- real, Toronto,‘and eight weeks on the Island. The tourfbegins again today with an engagement in Moncton.

The grOup put on an ex- cellent show, though much of the_harmonizing was lost due to the crowded Conditions in

only complaint that some peop1e~could have about the performance is the amount of songs that were» repeated during the ~ 7 second show, due-to their

- large repertoire of music-
