MRS. CHARLES P. BARTLETT

The dearth of Mrs. Charles Bartlett occured unexpectedly in Halifax on August 19th. She was 41 years of age. She is survived by her husband Charles P. Bart- lett, one son Derrell, and her par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Dawson of Tryon. The funeral service was held in Tryon United Church on Thursday August let, conducted by Rev. Irvin-e Hare, assisted by Rev. Lindsay Graves. pastor of the Tryon Baptist Church. choir, under the direction of Dr. Peter MacDonald, led in the. song- ing of the hymns ‘The Lord 5 my Shepherd’ and ‘When the Day of Toll is done’. The Tryon Male Octette sang ‘That Beautiful Land‘. The pallbearers were Shel- don Dixon. Vance Dixon, Kelth Thomas. Sheldon Howatt. MRS. RUSSELL KEY

The death of Mrs. Russell Key oceurred at her home at Foxley River, P.E.I. on. Tuesday, Octob- er 7, 1958, following a lengthy illness.

Mrs Key was the former Lulu Yeo, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John H. Yeo of Harm- ony, P.E.I. She was 69. She was stricken with an incurable dis- ease about three years ago and for the past year was devoted-y cared for by her sister Mrs. Lauretta Yeo.

Mrs. Key was a member of St. Peter's Anglican Church at Lot 11 and as long as her health permitted she attended worship regularly. She was also a mem- ber of the Woman‘s Auxiliary.

Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters. Isabel (Mrs. Emerson Barlow) of El- lerslie, P.E.I. Gretha (Mrs. Kenneth Cavanaghl of Ottawa, Out. and Merlene (Mrs. Donald Pannett) of Markham, Ont. two sons. John and Arnold predec- eased here. Also left are her sisters; Mrs. Penrose Murray of Harmony, P.E.I. Mrs. Alice Naugler of Jamaica Plains, Mass, Mrs. Beatrice Dickie of Marlboro, Mass. Mrs. Lauretta Yeo of Victoria West. P.E.I. and Mrs. Lionel Cahill (Ethel), at Waltham, Mass. One sister Gertrude and two brothers, John E. and Thomas predeceas— ed her.

The funeral was held on Fri- day afternoon at 2 p.m. from her late residence to St. Peter,s Church. The service was conduc- ted by the rector, Rev. M.J. Fin— Lay assisted by Captain the Rev.
