The buzz of the motor boats in and out of the harbor, and to see the Blockhouse and Ranges in operation again is an indication of the near approach of the good old summer time. Large pans of ice have been coming down the rivers apparently all will soon be clear of floating ice and navagntion will be general.

Congratulations are being extend- ed bo Mr. Timothy R-stchfcrd. South shore, who has been appoint- ed manager for the coming seaoon oi‘ the S. S. Hillsborough, which plies between Rocky Point and Charlottetown. All are anxiously looking forward for excellent service as Mr. Ratchford is from this side of the river and knows the require- ments of the people.
