SHERIFF 'S SALES.

BY virtue of a writ of Statute Execution to me di- rected, issued out of Her Majesty’s Supreme Court of Judicature, at the suit of \Villiain Murdock against Donald McAulay, Angus McAulay and John McAulay, I have taken and seized as the property of the said Donald McAulay, Angus McAulay and John McAulav, All their Right, Title and interest in and to the followng tracts, pieces or parcels of Land. namely: all the Right, Title and Interest of Angus McAulay, in and to Town Lot No. 1, third range, Letter G. in Georgetown, with the Buildings and appurtenances thereon. and two tracts. pieces or parcels of land situate on Township No. 53, in King’s County, the first containing 100 acres of Land, a little more or less. the second containing 60 acres of Lund, a little more or less, with the buildings and appurtenances thereon. Also all the Right, title and interest of John htcAulay, in and to 60 acres of Land, 3. little more or less, situate on Township Number 53, with the Buildings and appurtenances thereon. Also all the equitable interest of Donald McAulay, in and to Pasture Lots Nos, 212, 222, 231,, 215, 2-16 and 303, in the Royalty of Georgetown, with the buildings and appurtenances thereon, and I do hereby give public notice that I will on the 18th day of February, 1868, at the Court House, in Georgetown. at the hour of 12 o’clock. noon, set up and sell at public Auction, the above recited property, or as much thereof as will satisfy the Levy marked on the said writ, being £4.99 12s. 6d. debt, with interest thereon from the ﬁrst day of August, 1862, until paid, and £3 16s. 8d. costs, also 165. 8d. for Writ, besides Sheriff’s poundage and all other incidental expenses. this day pleased to ﬁx and determine the rate at which the amount of the invoice of Dutiable Goods, imported into this Island from the United States of America, shall, in es- timating the duties payable thereon, be reduced into current money of this Island, as follows :—

In all cases where such Invoices shall be made out in Dol- lars and cents of the paper currency of the United States, the amount of such Invoice shall be reduced into current money of this Island, by allowing for each Dollar the sum of FOUR SHILLINGS AND SIX—FENCE, and in the like proportion for any fraction of a Dollar, of which all Collectors of Impost are to take notice and govern them-
