I think it is about time some of the feminists around this campus understand that. It is time to stop the male bashing and start making peace, between sexes, races, languages, and countries.

From you “‘Rape And Sexual Assualt Supplement’’ issue, the article ‘‘Real men Don’t Rape’’, is unfairly written from my point of view.

The author who wrote:

‘*Itis never OK to force yourself on a woman, even if:

-She teases you

-Dresses Provocatively orleads youon’’

has no right to approach men in this fashion.

Naturally, itis never ‘‘OK’’ to force anyone on any- one else. However, if the author is preaching men about this, then why did he or she not preach on the women who ‘‘teases’’ and ‘‘dresses provocatively or

leads you on.’’

If you are to doa justified ‘‘Rape and Sexual Assualt Supplement,’’ you should have also included some points about the women’s attitude: what real women don’tdo. Instead, your supplement is bias.

Iam disappointed by this supplement, and I do feel badly for the men in our society, who have to put up

with those sort of preaching without any justification.

I would like to give you some advice on the printing of writing from an old hat at writing --proof read the works that go into the paper BEFORE it gets printed up, it is very useless after the fact. It is highly annoying to read our campus paper and find typos in every line.

You will probably say it is impossible to check over everything before it goes to the printer’s, HOW- EVER, I do know for a fact that all of the articles are

put into acomputer before being sent to the printer.

Try investing in a dictionary disk/spell check system for the X-Press computer and put it to use.

I would really like to congratulate you on the success | of the paper, but, unfortunately several things keep : me from doing that. 4

Naturally, I could comment on the spelling mistakes, — or the grammatical errors, butIknowthatthose — things happen quite easily and are sometimes hard to 4 catch. lamsurethatI commit these errors quite frequently myself. These things, in my opinion, are © not major problems. .

However, there is another, more serious problem. I ©

am referring to an article that was published anedi- tion of the X-Press two weeks ago. The article was | about a fictional society. I submitted it to the paper — to testa theory. My theory was that if I submitted an article, that it would be published withoutanyone

Not only did this fictional article get published, a factual article that] submitted aboutthe U.P.E.1. Debating Society was omitted. Surely you see somes | thing wrong with this picture. May I suggest that you take more care in the overall outcome ofthe paper, and less time worrying about thetitleofyourown | articles.
