WINNIZPEG. Oct. 17 - (OP) - Prlces were strong today on the Winnipeg Grain Exchange, with new seasonal highs being recorded, including October barley.

Broad advances on U.S, markets were reflected in good buying here. Aggressive commercial demand in- cluded Amerlcan shipper purchases in the deferred months of cats and barley.

Someexport buying also appear- ed in barley in connection with either old or new business.

Flax unoo cred export buying. with good 1 eign enquiry report- ed. Rye trade was mostly local dur- ing Iihg active session.

There was no information avail- able on export wheat loadings. However, the Canadian wheat board announced export wheat had been made available to Japan, with one cargo for November loading and five cargoes for uecember loading, about 2,000,000 irushels will be in- volved.

Prices for class two wheat ad- vanced 190 cents from yesterday, while I. W. A. prices were down ills.
