MISCEILANEOUS SHOWER — Miscellaneous shower was held in Canoe Cove hall in honour of Mrs. Bill Moreash on Friday, July 8 when over sixty friends and summer visitors were present to shower many lovely gifts upon the newly married bride. The reason for this proposal was that several creamerics had and still have on hand large amounts of print butter which is not ac- ceptable to the Dairy Products Board for storage. This was a financial handicap to making full returns immediately.

Because of the present limited butter market and the increased production in the Province. therc was a tendency to cut prices ‘in order to make sales. However. the situation is now improving. In spite of the publicity and propa- ganda, the domestic butter sales are increasing.

Arrangements with the Dairy. Products Board are working promptly and harmoniously now. although there are still a few difficulties in obtaining boxes and storage space.

Fair Competition
