NEW BOOK PUBLISHED

Oxford University Press has published Atlantic Wildflowers with text by Diane Griffin and photography by Wayne Barrett and Ann MacKay. This 136 page book has 128 colour photographs of wildflowers that range from seashore to deciduous woodlands of Atlantic Canada. For each species, the information includes the scientific and common name, as well as its habitat, range, description, ocology and uses.

The book may be purchased locally at the P.E.I. Museum and Heritage Foundation, through the Island Nature Trust, local bookstores, or fran the Nature Canada Bookshop, 75, Albert St., Ottawa KlP 6G1. A hardcover book priced at $19.50.
