Out of the maze of this position and that position,

Student Council, 2 for the Executive. The Executive position is for Carmunica- tions Officer and~there are opponents.

One of them is fourth year psychology major Shelly Pepler (alias Junior Class vice-presichnt '78/',79). Shelly said that her experience of UPEI Student Council in the past (see alias) , should benefit her in carrying'out the tasks of a Commmicatimé Officer. And, to save me the explanation of what a "Commdﬂashms owizzer" is, Shelly's plans if she is elected are to help CD1N,, the SUN and Nexus run smooth- 1y this year as in the past.

And in the other "Comer, we have a Junior Arts student usually labelled Alban

Unfortunate— ly that is all the information I have on our mysterious nominee due to failure on my part to interview him. My humblest apologies to John Jenkins and the "inquisitive" student body. Now, to get on with the show, the next student up and running for the Senate is Robert O'Hanley. Robert, a senior business student, " has practive as a class rep on the Colonel Gray student council. He also mentioned that he will soon notify the students as to to his election plans. Therefore Robert's first election plan is to announce his election plans. One of the contestants is a Senior Student usually known as Valerie more, who is majoring in English and Psychology. Valerie's electio‘nplans, in general, are to get more familiar with the machinery of the Student Union and to accomplish . something outside of school work since she is graduating (she hopes) this year.

The next nominee is Jim Costello. Jim is a fourth year Psychology major and

gCarOline Hill V. Caroline Hill, is a third year Frendn major. Her experience originates from two years on the council as Arts Rep and working on the UPEI SUN. Caroline plans to help the student body in any way she can be representing ’ them in the Student Council and with the Senate.

Up and coming is another Senate challenger, Brendon Bulger. He is a third year business student at UPEI and he has an impressive record as Yearbook Editor 77—78, senator 78-79, and a amember of the Constitution Committee 78-79. If Brendon is elected he plans, in his exact words, "to use my experience on Senate and Council to continue” to represent UPEI students in both bodies.
