2 eggs, well beaten

1-2 cup walnuts coarsely cut

l teaspoon vanilla

Sift flour, baking powder and

salt together. Melt. butter and chocolate over hot water. Add sugar gradually to well-beaten eggs_ beating thoroughly. Add

melted chocolate mixture and stir to blend. Add dry ingredients and mix well; then add nuts and van- illa. and mix.
