After the Grand Jury had been duly swortt in and some other matters atiended to,the Chief Justice began his charge to the jury. This charge occupied upwards of an hour in its delivery ; and at ‘its conclusion the Court adjourned.

Trainor vs. Black Diamond Co.—Rule absoliite for non-suit.

Re Andrew Doyle’s applicatton for cer- tioramt. Rule nis % discharged with=costs.

Mclsaac vs. Bradley.—Rule absolute to set aside verdict on the ground that the damages were excessive. The Court how- ever held that the plaintiff is entitled to damayes as the warrant under which he was arrestsd was void.

The date of the Millman trial is not yet known, but if will probably not commence before the latter part of this week or the first of next.
