Tribesmen Fy Pell-Mell.

Sima, Oct. 21.—According to advices from Fort Lockhart, the tribesmen having occupied Dargia Ridge, which commanded Chagru on the Lima Range, General Sir

Then followed a magnificent rush across the open space in the teeth of a murderous fusilade. The enemy stood their ground till the Britieh reached the rocks below down which the tribesmen could not ste to fire and then they fled pell-mel). The losses of the Gourkahs and Gordon High- landers were severe.

A very touching ineident occurred near Verplanck Point, N. Y,a few days ago. } A litle boy, six years old, named Johnny Quinn, fell from a steamboat at the wharf where his father was loading iron.
