Harvey told me he had had some tame Canada Geese for a number of years. Some of the Canada Geese in the pond that day were wild. After just one day in the pond they would come up and feed with the rest.

When I inquired about the European Widgeon that were in the sanctuary the previous winter, Harvey said they had not as yet come back.

This concludes the author's recollections of these two men who did so much to add to an understanding of our wildlife.
