Here's another example of the two extremes and the haPPy nie- dium. Then there is the other extreme, the fellow who dlsparages his eff- orts and spotlights his failures. In this case everything he utters is accepted as gospel truth. People are quite willing to accept your estimation of yourself providing it is low enough. If you run your- self down you will convince your listeners you are an inferior sort of person, and possibly shut doors of opportunity which otherwise would have swung wide to your knock. We should all avoid these two extremes. and in spite of what the song says, try to be M13 111' Between.
