PORT I-IOOID, N.S. (CP)-——Pro- gressive Conservative Robert S. Ma.cLellan kept his Inverness- Richmond seat after a recount Saturday showed him with a majority of 16.

The recount was requested by Liberal candidate Allan J. Mac- Eachen, who lost by a narrow 28- vote margin to Mr. Ma-.c-Lellian in the March 31 federal election. Ml‘. M-acbellan had 7,725 votes in the recount, compared to 7,709 for his opponent.
