Dinner) this year's executive has decided to bar out, and have declared next Wednesday, March 22nd, election day. We'd like to have as many of you as possible running for positions, but I feel we owe you the truth before we ask you to commit yourselves.

Next year will be the biggest year thus far for the Business Society, and will no doubt involve more work on the part of the Executive than will any successive year for quite soue time. line ordinary duties will expand slightly with increased enrolment, that is generally the recruit- nent and membership drive early in the year. We also hope to continue our practice of active participation in depart— ment neetings.

So much for the fun and ganes. Now for the work. 'Ihis year's Businessman's Dinner must be considered to have been fairly successful, representing

an increase in attendance of approximately 30% - not bad for Year 2 in a venture of this nature. ’Alﬂimigh the whole event culminates in a one- 7 evening 2—3 hour affair, ‘ needless to say, its success depends cm a lot of organization work beforehand. 'Jhe goal of the Business Society next year will undoubtedly be to increase attendance further and probably will do so. Anyway, I wish you luck, and recommend aspirin for the headaches which will pop up.

']he UPEI Business Society has, for the last two years, participated actively in the Atlantic Conference of Business Students. Herein lies the for nost of the wOrk to be faced by next year's executive. For the first tine, this conference will be held here at UPEI and probably in the first semester. 'Iherefore a lot of the leg work will have to be " comenced‘ this spring and sumer in preparation for next fall. '
