He first ran across the con- dition when he was an air force major stationed at Lackland Air Force Base. Tex.

He noticed that of 187 cases oi elbow injuries at the base hospital, 99 involved youngsters nine in ii years old. Nearly all were Little (9-12) or Pony (13 14) leaguers. .
