and died. .

The deceased was born in Dun- das, P.E.I.. on July 17. 1&8, and was the only son of the late Ed- ward Haberlin and Effie Living- otono. He received his early edu- cation in the Abney School and then went to Mount Allison Uni- nnity. Sackville. N.B.. where he obtained the degrees of Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Divinity.

He later received his Master of

Arts degree from Yale Univer-

sity. As a minister in The United

Church of Canada he served on

es. He later held pastoratea in

was given sufficient strength to carry on the great work to which he had given his life.

He will ever be remembered by those men. women and children. who by his ministry were led in- to the Christian Life. and built it up in faith. and hope. and love.
