A graduate of McMaslcr Uni- versity with a B. A. degree, Lou- ise now is working! toward a master's degree in social work at the University of Toronto. She has been offered a job with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. but intends to finish university before taking full-time employment. At present. she spends two days a week on prac- tical work at the institutes wel- fare department.

"I want to share in the work of the institute. which is giving blind people in Canada a feeling of usefulness and that there is a place for them in life.” she said.
