The fiili plenary session, by the Reds. was recessed after 25 minutes at Paiimunjom, subject to call by either side.

That meant the Reds did not break off the truce talks, placed in new peopardy. when an armistice was all but sealed. by Rlieels abrupt release of thousands of war captives in south Korea.

The subject matter of Saturday's critical session was not made pub- lic.

But the. official Chinese. Red. radio at. Pciping made it clear that: the Red delegates stalked into the; Panmunjom conference hut with al demand that the Allies recapturel all of the freed prisoners.
