direct campus area. This means that 1000 day students do not even hear the radio station at all. As well, due to technical problems the station cannot be heard on some parts of the campus.
The station has fallen in- to a state of technical dis— repair and only the spend- ing of several thousand dollars could bring it back to an efficient run- ning order. ~
There are three alter- natives available to us:
(1) To discontinue oper— ations at the station and liquidate all it's assets. (2) To discontinue oper- ations at CINN for a period of two years and then hopefully monies would be available to properly re— pair the station.
,(3) Repair thestation - and continue business as usual. ‘ ' ,
For update sake, activi- ties at the S.U. went fairly well first semester. Our Comptroller, Robin Glow, has resigned be— cause he is leaving school.

Elections will be held in the latter part of IEebruary. Now it is time for prospective candidates to make up their minds.

.We started the laborious job of renovatingthe
S.U. constitution and have made it half way through. Hopefully it will be completed this year.
We have had a problem
trying to get students to
content on activities and
proposals by the Student Union. This is one reason why I wrote this report.
I would greatly appreciate some input from students on our activities. If any students would like to Garment-or offer suggestions feel free to contact myself or the other executive members at The Barn.
