I. Thatno person now holding or whohereafter shall hold, either of the above offices of Attorney or Solicitor General, shall be entltled to demand or receive from the Government, or out of the Treasury of this Island, any greater amount or salary per annum than the amount of salary attached to, and belonging to his ofﬁce, under and by virtue of the said recited Act; but such salaries shall in each case be in lien, and in full of all claims, fees, allowances or charges and emoluments, paid or to be payable by, or which can he demanded from the Government of this Island by the Attorney General, Advo- cate General, or Solicitor General, on account of Crown prosecutions, or for opinions, or for putting marginal notes to the Statutes, or for any other miscellaneous services performed by them, or either of them, for the Government, or for any public ofﬁcer of the Government, in their or his strictly ofﬁcial capacity, or in their or his professional capacity as a Barrister, Proctor, Solicitor, Attorney, Advocate, Con- veyancer, or Notary Public.
