1999/2000 STUDENT HANDBOOKS

This is a reminder to all full time UPEI Students to drop by the Student Union office to pick up your Student Handbook if you haven't done so already.

This year included at the back of the handbook is a Millennium Time Capsule. Fill it out, seal it, and put it away for a period of time. In time open it and look back at it to remember what issues and hopes you had in the year 1999.

Hello everyone!

Welcome, and welcome back to UPEI for what promises to be another great academic year!

We, at the Student Union, would like to help you make the most of your time at UPEI. Remember, we are here to address student concerns - so please feel free to contact us with any questions you many have. :

| would like to strongly encourage any student who is interested in the Student Union to consider running for a position on Council. There are many Councillor positions available: for more information on the upcoming fall Student Union elections watch for advertisements posted around campus or contact us at the Student Union building’ (first floor of the Barn).

Best of luck to everyone as you start fall semester classes. We look forward to making this another terrific year at UPE!!

CADRE ON LINE

Kent Bruyneel, Editor In Chief, of the Cadre has created a web site for the Student Union newspaper. The site will feature the current edition of the Cadre, as well as archived articles. The site also gives students the opportunity to provide Cadre staff feedback through e-mail. The Cadre site will be on line later this month.
