Contract for Printing of the Statutes of Prince Edward Island,

for the Years 1863,1864,1865, 1866, and 1867.

PERSONS disposed to Contract for Printing Eight Hun- dred Copies of the Revised Public General Statutes and One Hundred and Fif’y Copies of the Revised Private Statutes, at Prince Edward Island. passed in the years 1863,1664, 1865, 1866. and 1867. and in: binding the same, are hereby infnrund that TENDERS will be received by the undersigned Counnisstoners, appointed to superinteml the same, until twelve o’clock, noon, on Saturday. the Sixteenth day of NnVeinher. instant.

The Publie and Private Statutes will form tWo separate Volumes. comprising 280 pages and 170 pages, or there-abouts, respectively, and Wlll Inrni two separate Volumes.

Tenders to extiress the rate per sheet of eight pages for each volume. The Contractor will be required to print. the Public Statutes first. and to complete the same within Three Months after (-ouunenc int: it, which he will be required to do on or about the 7th day of Dt'cwnber next: and to complete the Private Statutes wrthiu Three Months thereatter. Both works to be printed in a good and Work- manlike manner. in the style of the Revised Statutes of Prince Ed- ward Island published in 1862, a specimen of which as Well as of the binding and of the quality of the paper, may be seen and other

particulars made known at the Olliee of Hon. Joseph Hensley, one .

of the Commissioners, where Scaled Tenders, directed to the under- signed. are to be sent.

Separate Tenders to be sent in for the Printing. and separate Tenders for the Binding of the Work: and the. Tenders for the Binding to set forth the rate per Volume at which the Contractor or Contractors will half bind the same in Calf, and half bind the name in Sheep.

No Tender will be noticed unless accompanied by a letter ad- dressed to the Conunissioners, signed, it in reference tn the Printing, by two (‘2) persons, and if in rcfel'ence tn the Binding, by two (2) per- sons or known responsibility. engaging to become security for the doc performance of the contract.

Tenders for Dredging the Southport and Charlottetown sides of Charlotte- town Ferry.

SEPARATE Tenders are required to be sent into the Colonial Secretary’s Olliee, on or before THURSDAY, the Fourteenth day of January next, at twelve o’clock, noon, by any person or company who may be willing to contract with the Government to perform the three following works, that is to say :—

lst. To dredge the South-port ' side of the Charlottetown Ferry, as follows :—-A channel to be cut through the flats from the main channel to the landing slip at the Southport side; the first 150 feet, leading from the main channel, to be dredged out 3 feet deep, and 60 test wide.

2ndly. The remaining distance up to the outer edge of the stationary Wharf and under the Floating Blocks, (supposed to be about 400 feet), to be dredged out 2 feet deep throughout, and 60 feet. wide, up to the docks, and from side to side within the docks.

3rdly. The public docks, on the Charlottetown side of said Ferry, to be dredged out and deepened in same manner from
