Former Alberton Resident Dies In 98thYeor

Mrs. Charles Bennett, a former resident of'Alberton, passed away Thursday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hedley Pal- mer, Roaevllle. The former Miss Margaret Thompson was born in New Brunswick ninety-seven year: ago.

Death came to her on the eighty- flrat amiversary of her marriage. As a bride of only a few months, aha came to Alberton on the first paaaenge; train to run west of Summerside. All her married life was spent in Aiberton. Her hus- band predeceased her ln i920. years ago she went to live with her son-in-law and daugh- ter in Rosevllle. During this time she sustained serious fractures on two occasions but made remark- able recoveries for a person of her years. Her recent illness was of only two weeka'-duration. she is survived by the following sons and daughters. Gordon of Alborton: Lillian, Ella and Mrs.
