The paper lost a bid'to form a publishing corp— oration independent from student council during a student referendum March 15 by 69 votes.

Mansour attributed the referendum outcare to a lack of information and ,she believes that with the relatively narrow margin of difference and the poor turnout, the paper's chances of succeeding will be much better next year, when they expect to put the question to students again.

It was brought up that a substandial amount of beer and money was missing. ’Ihe canptroller informed us that he has been taking 5 steps to reduce the theifs. It was noted that the loses were less than previous years.
