Kenneth Dowling. son of M1’. and Mrs. James Dowliug, Wey- mouth Street, suffered a badly cut head. which required hos- pital treatment. while swimming in the Hillsboro River last night.

It was reported that the young lad dived from a point near the I-iillsboro bridge and struck his head on a rock after entering the water.

He managed to get out of the water and on to the bridge, where he stopped a passing motorist, who took the lad to the Charlotte pita]. After treatment he was allowed to return to his home.
