An extensive sea search of the West Shore Area where George Hudson MacArthur of Kelly Road is believed to have drowned Thurs- day afternoon while overhauling lobster traps, failed to locate the body of the missing fisherman. The search was carried out yest- erday by flshing boats in the area assisted by two Government. pat- rol boats under the supervision of the Alberton Detachment of the R.CMP.

Augustine Cove and North Tryon brought their Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety Course to a close on August 10th. This course was under the ca able ” ' anshlp of Mrs. dred Mitchell. North Tryon an Mrs. Wendell MacFadyen, Augus- tine Cove.

The swimmers enrolled for this course were instructed by Miss Sharon Bugden and Miss Winni- fred MacPherson assisted by Miss Joyce Lord.
