They were visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Leighton Warren aad Mr. Clinton Taylor. On the return trip Mrs. Warren and Mrs. Taylor were accompanied by Mrs. Rueben Betts.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Wallace Brehaut was held Sun- day afternoon from the Pownal, United Church with an unusually jarge number of people attending. Mrs. C. Drake of Calgary, a sis- ter of Mrs. Brehaut and Mrs. Weldon McCoubrey, a daughter of the deceased, and Mr. McCou- brey of Saint John, came to at- tend the funeral.

Guests included girl friends and intimates of the bride-+o-be. A variety of beautiful and useful gifts were opened by the bride- | to-be and Miss Katherine Beck {read the accompanying verses |expressing the good wishes ef those present.
