Mr. Arsenault was born in Sum- merside Ilfly-IIVG years ago, the son of Mrs. Flflelo M. Arsenauli and the late Mr. Arsenault. After graduation from High School. he went. to work with the Canadian National Railways continuing with them for thirty-four years and eight months retiring two years ago. due to ill health. Mr. Arsen- ault was devoted to his iiork and through sheer ability rose 1 the position of Assistant Road Master with the C.N.R.

Twenty-two years ago he and nls family came to Tignish to live and where he established I beautiful Ind comfortable home for his loved ones and where he athered about him a laige group of fi'iends who loved and respected him He fnok an acme part in all community enrleavouss, and at the time of his death, was SEIVIIIE the village of Tignish as one of its commission- ers.

Men wit.h whom he did business. learned quickly to rely on his hon- esty and fairness. Alvi ays a gentle-

man. he was a credit to his position and his village All who knevv him and regarded

him no warmly, will surely miss him. Is does his family. so dear to him.

When he became suddenly ill with I heart attack on Monday night. medical aid was summoned immediately and everything pos- sible was done to restore him to his family. but God willed other- wise and he died peacefully forti- fied by the Sacred Rites of :he Roman Catholic Church. of which he was a devoted member. As 'l:i soul went out from this world to his Heavenly home. the prayers for a happy death were beimt Hid by Reverend Dennis Gallant. n15 u'lfP and sons. The funeral was held on Friday morning, December 3rd to the Church of St. Simon and St. Jude. where at 9:30 Requiem Mass was sung for the repose of his soul by Reverend J. A. MacDonald. P.P., assisted by the parish choir, un- der the direction of Reverend Den- nis Gallant. Services at the grave were conducted by Father GEL lant.
