Anything short of it is an inter- ference with our “natural rights!” It is in vain to remind Mr. Moore that we have laws upon our statute books which inter- fere with our natural liberty, such, for in- stance, as the law prohibiting the carrying of firearms, against which there is a Dominivon statuie. A correspondent of the Daily Budletin, Haverhill, Mass., writes as follows in re- gard to the fishing trip of two well-known Haverhill sporting gentlemen: ‘June 23:h, 8. R. Bartlett and Swain P. Chick left Haverhill on the 9.45 train for Prince Edward Island, and arrived at Souris July 1, at 12 m., making their stay while there at the Cox Hotei, being entertained by tho prominent men of the town. After havivg ven dined they were driven to the Biack River, remaining there about three hours and catching 24 pounds of trout in that time. Returning to the hotel they had trout for supper. They were royally en- tertained by prominent citizens until che smali hours of the morning, that being Do- minion Day, which is their Fourth of July. Wednesday morning at 4 o'clock they started for East River, a distance of four- teen miles, and arrived at the fishing grounds at 6 30, fishing untii9 p.m, and in one hole they catching 100 pounds of trout without moving 25 feet. Mr. Chick caught the first trout, weighing 24 pounds. Mr. Barilett got so excited that he tried to jump the brook, but didn’t jump quite far enough and fel! in the river and was res- cued by Mr. Chick. The next morning they were on hand at 4 o'clock at the same fishing grounds, and fished until 11 o'clock,
