were met in the ball by a fairiv large and intelligent audience of farmers vitally in- terested in the issues of the campaign. Joshua Westcott, Esq., acted as chair- man.

Messrs Wise, Horne, Farqubarson, Mc- Millan, W. S. Stewart and Thomas Dovle, addressed the audience in the order bamed,
