A Law for Levying an Assess- ment on Real kstate for City purposes.

[ Assented to 15th June, 1867.]

DE it enacted by the City Council of the City vi Charlottetown :-—

Section 1. That there shall be an assessment | levied on Real state, within the City, for the purpose of raising a Revenue for the current year; and that such assessmeut shall be at the rate of Ten shillings on each Handred pounds of the value of such Real Estate, e jual to oue shilling on every one pouud of the seutal, and | shali be paid by the oceupants of real estate, | within tue City, according to the several pro-| portighs Ox Valuations entered against the same | of each and every person in the Assessment Books, prepared from tae tire Assessors, according to the Act of L[ncor-
