-The, annual- carnival and ice sports was held at the Mt. Pleas- ant Rink on Friday night. March 4th, with a fair attendance. The carnival II sponsored by the LE- dies' Aid of the Stewart Memorial Health Centre. Eighty three people were in costume. Tickets were sold on an electric iron, which was won by James Milligan, Northam, also a twenty pound fruit cake. made and donated.by Freeland. which was won by Preston Grigg.

The Lure Mrs. George Moore

Mrs. George Moore passed away Friday night, Feb. 25, in Dor- chester Rest Home, after a long illness Before moving to 37 Lo- gan Way, South Boston, she had been a resident of DUTCIIESLCF for over 40 years.

She was Past Worthy Mistress of Loyal Ladies Orange Lodge of Brookline; also a member of A- merica Rebekah Lodge of Dor- cheste . Both Lodges held funeral services for their late Sister Moore. At the Richardson Fun- eral Home on Monday evening her casket was banked with flowers from all her loved ones. for and near. Funeral services were held on Thursday at 2 o'oclck in Dor- cheater Temple Baptist Church by the Rev. Mr. Rideout. The church was filled with her friends. Burial was at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son. Frank H. Moore of Dorchester and a daugh- ter, Mrs. Gladys Smith. North Quincy: also two sister. Miss Net- tie Matheson, Dorchester and Mrs. Sadie MacEachern. Debert. N. S.
