Former Assistant Manager Kristine Suzuki left a "living" legacy here at the station - some unidentified organic material growing in a vase. It is with great pleasure that the station management announces our first-ever NAME THE GROWTH CONTEST (not on Rod’s face).

If you want to suggest a name for our scummy little buddy, just write your name and phone number along with your suggested name on a piece of paper and drop it in the NAME THE GROWTH CONTEST box in the pit. Grand prize is a special edition Hugh Harris cassette. Other prizes include half a dozen paper clips and scrap

paper.

The winning entries will be announced during the station general mecting on September 14th (1:00 P.M.), attendance at which is a must for all DJ’s and potential DJ’s.

Did you know that you can tune into CIMN anywhere you can find an Island Cablevision hook-up? Amazing, you say? CIMN is broadcast as an FM signal on Island Cablevision at a frequency of 102.3 (just to the left of Much Music’s FM signal). To tune us in, either connect your cable to the back of your FM tuner or just make contact between the end of the cable and an FM aerial.

Better yet, notify Island Cablevision that you would like to have a separate FM hook-up.
