He had many friends on the train, and was met by many at the Sussex station, where the friends shook hands and congratulated him. Then he went homeand became ill. Until yester- day morning he was visited by the people of the town. However, Dr. White, chair man of the board of health, placarded the house with information that it contained a case of small-pox.
