On Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. Edward McGuigan of Malpeque entertained at eleven tables of cards for the Malpe- que Women’s Institute. The ladies high score went to Mrs. Elmer Hickey and the gentle- man’s to Mr. Wallace Adams while consolation awards went to Mrs. Preston Ramsay and Lester Woodside and the lucky chair prize to Mrs. Kenneth Owen. A delicious lunch was served by the hostess assisted by members of the institute.

Mrs, Kenneth Owen, Malpeque was a visitor to Summerside on Saturday.

Little Miss Patricia Champ- fon of Hamilton was taken to the Prince County Hospital on Saturday evening.

On Wednesday evening the Princetown United Church wo- mens group sponsored a most successful pot luck supper in Malpeque hall. A large number attended to partake of a dell- cious meal prepared by the ladies.Following the supper Mr. William H. Burns introduced Mr, Robert Carruthers of Kensing- ton who showed films of his trip to Western Canada also many scenes of P.E.I. and N.S., which were much enjoyed by all. Mrs. Bruce Crozier extended the thanks of all to Mr Carruthers for his entertaining part of the evening's program.
