A total of $262, 467 has been.al- | located for 18 approved Centen- nial projects in Prince Edward Island, it was indicated in a re- cent Centennial Commission re- lease.

The funds provided for: the Centennial projects come from the federal, provincial and munt- cipal governments.

The major portion of the Cen- tennial projects’ budget will be spent.on four recreational struc- tures, which will cost approxi- mately $190,000. Four parks will also be constructed, at a cost of $42,000 and six community cen- ters at a cost of $22,000
