Tue shipment, to-day, of three hundred barreis of choice apples directly to th, British market is a new departure for Prince Edward Island and a very gratify- ing sign of the times, The apples have, for the most part, been carefully selected and packed under the supervision of Senator Fergueon and Mr. John Roberteon of Inkerman Farm. We hope and believe that they will be regarded by the Eoglish purchasers as “a fine lot” for which good prices will be paid.
