. It is gratifying to find’ the revived interest jing taken .n public affairs as manifested in municipal elections. In Suminerside on tiesdav the largest vote in a number of years is polled, and indications are that there will ' fa record vole in the City a week hence. The punger men of the communities have had their thusiasm arciised, which is all to the good - the maintenance of out democratic way of fc. So far asCharlottetown is concerned the yrst public movement towards its revival took lace shortly before Great War II when a lun- t! All ffidii ia due to this young organization for e enthusiasm and executive ability they have ~inced in simulating public opinion, for it is .= gely due to their influence and efforts that e have such spirited competition for public ffice at this time.
